The Fred Mobile App: Goals, Reminders, and Monthly Reviews on the Go
Inspiration rarely waits for your laptop
The best goal ideas show up in inconvenient moments:
- On a walk
- After a conversation
- In the middle of a week when everything else is moving fast
That is why the Fred mobile app matters. It meets you where life actually happens.
Capture goals when the spark is real
When motivation appears, you should not need a whole planning ritual.
Open Fred on your phone, add the goal and let the Fred AI do the rest. We ensured that adding goals literally takes nothing more than a sentence to write.
Gentle reminders, not guilt notifications
I did not want Fred to feel pushy like other apps sometimes seem to be. Just think about language apps, where you feel guilty, when you did not complete your daily learning session.
That is why Fred focuses on the essentials: Monthly reminders, which you can switch on or off, that are simple and pleasant: a nudge to check in with your goals, not a siren telling you that you are behind on life.
The monthly review on the 15th
One of my favorite features: around the 15th of each month, Fred invites you to review your goals.
Your monthly goals are summarized on a minimal screen with no distractions.
How far have you come? What stalled? What deserves more attention next month?
Soon you can also add notes for reflection. Attach images to goals when something visual captures the progress: a screenshot, a photo, a moment you do not want to forget. This is something we are planning for 2027 and we would be more than excited to hear what you think about this.
It turns goal tracking into something that feels human, not mechanical.
Share your month, or save it for your year in review
At the end of the month, Fred lets you export a neat story. Great for Instagram if you want to share what you achieved, or simply to keep a personal recap.
You can decide, if you want to showcase the complete goal name, or if you are more concerned about privacy, you can also cover the goal name with just the category.
I love this for a quiet kind of accountability: seeing your month in one place makes wins visible, even the small ones you would have forgotten.
Web for planning, mobile for living
I still use Fred on the web for bigger planning sessions: vision board, year themes, deeper step mapping.
But day to day? The phone is where I live my goals.
